The Daily NNA featured Cyan's $1 billion offshore wind vessel plan

5 October 2023, Singapore - Seraya Partners portfolio company Cyan Renewables was featured in the Daily NNA, the Southeast Asian publication of NNA, a subsidiary of one of Japan’s largest news network.

Khan Yow, Managing Director, Seraya Partners shared with NNA, “The offshore wind market is experiencing a critical shortage of vessels that can support a range of operations, including the construction, installation, and long-term operations of such offshore wind farms. Cyan Renewables was established to provide specialized vessels and capture growth opportunities in the market."

The Japanese government is actively working to expand the introduction of renewable energy, including offshore wind power generation. The gap in supply and demand for related vessels is likely to continue as demand for specialized vessels increases. Cyan Renewables aims to play a role in filling this gap.
