Singapore, 18 June 2025 – Seraya Partners, Asia’s leading independent infrastructure manager focused on next-generation infrastructure (“Seraya”), is pleased to announce the successful close of a major co-investment round for its 100% owned data centre platform company, Empyrion Digital (“Empyrion”). The total equity commitment from Seraya Fund I and co-investors to Empyrion is US$ 828 million.

Empyrion will invest the newly raised capital to develop and construct more than 200MW of secured projects in strategic markets such as Seoul, Tokyo, and Southeast Asia. This will further strengthen Empyrion’s Asia market leadership position as one of the few DC operators with multi-country footprint across Asia. Empyrion will accelerate its decarbonization efforts and strategically capture artificial intelligence (AI) workload demand.

This successful co-investment fund raise reflects global institutional investors’ strong demand for Asia digital infrastructure opportunities. Investors are seeking to diversify away from traditional US and Europe markets to capture high quality and low-risk data centre opportunities in Asia. Asia AI workloads require high density compute power supported by innovative low-carbon power, energy efficiency, and cooling technologies. Empyrion’s portfolio is uniquely located in supply-constrained, high demand growth cities where entry barriers are very high.

Empyrion Digital was launched by Seraya Partners in 2021 and has since developed a robust pipeline of next-generation data centres with a focus on operational excellence, sustainability, and regional connectivity.
